Understanding what works in engaging young people with learning difficulties and disabilities in learning is valuable information. It needs to be shared and easily accessible to the people who support them.
The more learners experience consistency of approaches, the better placed they are to predict their environments, understand what is being asked of them and become active learners invested in the learning process.
For LSAs this means having effective processes in place for
- sharing information
- developing an understanding of different tools to engage learners
- ensuring that engagement leads to progress towards learning goals.
The theme has two topics.
